RuelClub lets you host a free online blackjack tournament for up to six players. Everyone plays against a shared dealer, starts with 1,000 play chips, and competes for the highest stack after 20 rounds.

How to host your tournament

1. Sign in and name your room. Open RuelClub, sign in with your email, and choose a tournament name. Email sign-in remembers your room and seat.
2. Choose your company. Enable “Fill empty seats with AI players” to fill the six-seat table when you start. Disable it if you want only your friends playing.
3. Share the invitation link. Use Copy link and send it to your friends through your usual messaging app. They open the link, sign in and join before the start.
4. Start when everyone is ready. Only the host can start. With AI enabled, one human can start; without AI, at least two humans must join. No five-minute lobby countdown.
5. Play 20 rounds together. Click colored chips to build your bet, use the table chat, and watch the standings. The highest qualifying closing stack wins the title.

Can I host a private blackjack tournament?

You can create an unlisted room for your group and share its invitation link. RuelClub does not publish a public room directory. However, anyone who receives the link can watch the table and chat, and signed-in visitors can join before the host starts. Rooms are not password-protected, and the host does not approve each guest. Share your link only with people you want in your room.

Friends-only or optional AI players

With AI fill off, the tournament contains only the friends who join, with two to six human players. With it on, the host can start alone or with friends; the remaining seats fill with named, clearly labeled AI players. AI players use basic strategy and scripted chat reactions. They follow the same game rules and may win the tournament.

Questions before your first game

Is it free? Can we play for money?

It is free play only. Chips have no cash value. RuelClub has no entry fees, chip purchases, deposits, withdrawals, cash prizes or gift-card prizes.

Is there a tournament timer?

There is no scheduled start or overall tournament countdown. The host starts the game, which runs for 20 rounds unless everyone runs out of enough chips to bet. Each round has a 20-second betting window and each human decision has a 15-second timer.

Can friends join after the start?

They can watch using the link, but seats close when the host starts. Create another tournament for a rematch with a different group.

Can I play alone?

Yes. Create a room with AI fill enabled and start as the only human. Five labeled AI players will join the table.

Do I need to download an app?

No download is needed. Open RuelClub in a web browser with JavaScript enabled. Email sign-in is required to create, join or chat in a live room.

What happens if I disconnect?

Sign back in and reopen the same room link to return to your seat. Play keeps moving: a missed bet sits out that round, and an expired decision automatically stands.
